How To Get Aadhaar (UID) and Enrolment number (EID) That you Lost
Step 1: Visit the official UIDAI website provided by the Indian government by clicking here.
Step 2: A website will open which will ask you to retrieve your lost UID / EID. If you want to retrieve your Aadhar number (UID) then select the option “Aadhar Number (UID)” and if you want to recover your Entolment Id (EID) then select the radio button “Enrolment Number (EID)”.
Step 3: After selecting the option, enter your details Full Name, E-mail Id, Mobile Number and Captcha code (security code) that is displayed in the image. Click on “Send One Time Password” button. It will send an SMS of OTP on your mobile number.
Note: Enter the mobile number that you had given at the time of enrolment of Aadhar card.
Step 4: Enter the One time verification (OTP) SMS that you recieved on your mobile number.
Step 5: If OTP entered correctly, you will recieve an SMS and an e-mail of Enrolment Number or Aadhar number, whichever you requested for. The SMS will be sent to the mobile number that is connected to the Aadhar card.
You can use that information (Enrolment number or Aadhar number) to download e-Aadhar card online.
